Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how you can request deletion of personal data associated with your use of KotobaTales.
Automatic Deletion via Account Removal
When in-app account management becomes available, deleting your account will trigger removal of your personally identifiable data from our primary application databases. Certain minimal records (e.g. security logs) may be retained briefly for fraud prevention or legal compliance before being purged.
Manual Deletion Request
If you do not yet have access to an in-app delete function or wish to expedite removal, you can email us directly at info@kotobatales.com from the email address you used to sign up. Please include the subject: Data Deletion Request.
For faster processing, include:
- Your full name (if provided when signing up)
- The email address used for registration
- Any approximate signup date or relevant context
What Gets Deleted
- Profile/contact information (e.g. email, name)
- Lead / waitlist submission records
- Usage or onboarding metadata tied to your account
Aggregated, anonymized, or statistical data that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained for product analytics and improvement.
Verification
We may request email verification or limited additional confirmation to ensure the authenticity of the deletion request and protect against unauthorized data removal.
Timeframe
We aim to process valid deletion requests within 30 days and often much sooner. You will receive a confirmation once deletion is complete.
